The City of Cove is pleased to announce an opportunity for a local high school
Junior or Senior to serve as an appointed Student City Council Member for the
upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
This role allows one student to learn firsthand how a small rural city operates,
attend City Council meetings and gain valuable insight into local leadership
and civic engagement. The selected student will be required to attend at least eight
(8) City Council meetings during their term September through May.
Upon successful completion of the term, the student will receive a $2,500
scholarship to be used for education, training, or other activities that support their
future goals and personal development.
Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2026.
